ZEALOUS WORKER AMONG, BLIND. FOUNDER! OF BRAILLE CLUB. CBy Telegraph —Tress Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 16. Mrs Elizabeth Rhodes Hadfield, second daughter of the fate Rev. H. E. and Mrs Tuckey, has died. She was a woman of wide culture and never-fail-ing kindliness - and a devoted friend of the blind. She was the founder of the Braille Club in iWellington after working among the blind in Sydney.

She was also' a zealous church worker, and willingly , gave her time and money towards every good cause that came along. In 1895 she married the late Mr Henry S. Hadfield. eldest son of the late Bishop Hadfield, of Wellington, who then held office as Maori interpreter to the Legislative Council. She .survived by two sons, two daughters, a sister and r brother.
