FIXED PRICES FOR MILK
DECISION AT AUCKLAND PROVISION FOR CONCESSIONS (P|ROFO,R:TION OF RECEIPTS PRODUCER AND VENDOR. (By Telegraph— Tress Association.) AU|CK!LAND, May 4. The Auckland Milk 'Council, this morning, after a long discussion in which sectional interests were apparent, decided for the price of milk to -the consumer at fivepen>ce per quart lo'ose and 54d bottled. Vendors may at their discretion supply relief workers with milk at fourpence. _ The council also resolved to grant to the Hospital [Board and other charitable institutions the right to contract for cupplies at a shilling per gallon. It was further decided, that the producer shall receive 9d per .gallon, an 1 the .vendor Sjd, while L}d was allocatr ed for cartage and treatment.
