—& DUNEDIN CIVIC PAY CUT INCREASE IN RATES (By Telegriph—Press Association.) DIUNEDIN, May 2. The city council at a special meeting to-night decided to increase hospital and drainage rates by a penny m the £ each, bringing; the total to 4 s 7d. It w-as also decided to restore 2} per cent, of the 10 per cent, cut in wages and salaries.
