The hours of. play in the matches between the Australian cricketers and the counties will be: First day, noon to. 6.30 p.m.; second day, 11.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.; third day, 11.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., or 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate travelling. TEAM TO PLAY AVORCESTER. LONDON, May 1. The first Australian team to play against Worcester is composed as follows: Woodfull, Ponsford, Bradman, Kippax, McCabe, O’Reilly, Bromley, Ebeiing, Grimmett, Oldfield and AVail.
COUNTY OPENS PLAY. FIA 7 E AVIOKETSI FOR 63 RUNS. LONDON, May 2. A perfect example of a benign English spring day greeted the Australians in opening their tour of England today against AVorcestershire. -The county had made 63 runs for five wickets at the luncheon adjournment. The wicket appeared to be true and easy and the outfield was much faster than normally at the beginning of the season. Gibbons was bowled by Ebeiing before the batsman had scored, and Pa-
taudi was run out with his score 24.
