PRINCE IN SKIRTS
PRIZE AT FANCY DRESS BALL LONDON, April 20. Dressed as a woman with a bustle, Prince -George created a furore when he won first prize for: the most original costume at a fancy dress ball aboa the Windsor Castle when nearing The Prince arrived at the ball accompanied by Major Butler. They represented an early Victorian lawn tennis couple, the Prince being the lady, with a short pink ooat, red blouse, grey skirt, white petticoat, bustle, and boater hat. with two large hatpins.
