Sixty-two lots totalled 2363 guineas, the highest price being 2000 guineas for the leader of the herd, Pendlev Lord Rams den, which was sold to go to Australia. Its sire, Basildon Rosiorucian, was sold to Australia in 1930 for 2000 guineas. Many magnificent oows and heifers were sold at 10 to 25 guineas apiece, of which some were bought for the King’s herd at Windsor.
