Herr Robert Wagner, Nazi Governor of Baden, lias issued a stem call to discipline. He reminds the Storm Troops that individual Nazis, especialy Storm Troop leaders, have committed acts showing serious disrespect of the Government and representing a gross breach of party discipline. Herr Wagner has instructed the Minister ol the Interior to enforce the Government’s authority- in all circumstances, if necessary by force. He say’s membership of the Nazis does not justify arrogation of official powers. Similar pronouncement reveal that the leaders intend to stop local Nazi dictatorships in factories and administrative bodies. The gravity of the economic situation necessitates the application of the brake with desperate firmness. Great shipping lines and exporting concerns like the Due Trust report unfavourable foreign opinion is injuriously affecting German trade.
