ARMS LICENSES REVOKED
RAIDS ON IRISH HOMES. O’DUFFY DEFIES ORDER, (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright, i LONDON, Aug. 1. The Irish Free State has decided to call in all arms held by private individuals. The police continued their raids yesterday, when the homes of several Cosgraveite ox-Ministers were visited and orders were left revoking arms licenses. General O’Duffy, leader of the National Guard, joined Mr Blythe in refusing to surrender liis revolver. It is not known what action will be taken in these and similar cases.
