man committed for; trial
(By Telegraph—Bress Association). PALMERSTON N., Nov. 17. Arrested at Wellington on a. charge •of having on October 30, broken and entered the shop of the Premier Drapery Co Palmerston North, and stolen goods valued at £l3O, Barney Vincent Reardon appeared before. Justices ot the Peace in the Police Court to-day. After the hearing of evidence accused* pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail being refused. A detective stated that a large quantity cf goods remained undiscovered and lie objected to bail.
