REVIVING SPIRIT OF POTSDAM
PARADE OF STEEL, HELMETS. ENTHUSIASM IN] GERMANY. (United Press Association —By Electrio Telegraph Copyright.) Received 1.40 p.m. to-day. BERLIN, Sept. 4. What many Germans hailed as a glorious resurrection of the spirit of Potsdam was witnessed in the parade of 160,000 steel helmets concluding the convention. Troops clad in field grey uniforms of the old army marched to the temple of the aerodrome which was . formerly the Imperial parade ground. The streets were lined wit'll cheering multitude's of Ispeptators and buildings were decorated with the old Imperial colours. The ex-Crown Prince took the salute.
The Chancellor, Dr. Papen, was also present at the revieiv which was the most impressive since the days' of the Kaiser.
