COAL MINING DISPUTE
DENNISTON AND STOCKTON. ACTIVITY OF COUNCIL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.') WESTPORT, Sept. 3. The West Coast District Miners’ Council sat,all day yesterday and again in the evening considering the disputes at Denniston and Stockton mines, and to-day it visited Denniston. Seen on hi's return to Westport, Mr Fin die, secretary of the district council said there was nothing at present to report beyond that the council will visit the Stockton mines to-morrow.
