A serious train derailment on the north coast line near Grafton last night has caused complete dislocation of the inter-State passenger service. Ai goods; express from Brisbane to Sydney, consisting of 13 waggons of perishables, tropical fruits and farm produce, was rounding a curve at 40 miles an hour. Ten vans left the rails and piled up at the side of the line. The train crew miraculously escaped injury. The permanent way was torn up for a considerable distance.
