FOUR FROM AMERICA. MATCHES INNEW ZEALAND. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) NEW YORK , Sept. 3. J. E. Vines, W. Allison, J. Van Ryn and Gledhill will represent the United States Lawn Tennis Association in a five-month tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania and Honolulu, according to an announcement to-day. The party will leave on October 5. Meßdam.es Allison and Van Ryn will accompany their husbands.

Wood (U.S.) defeated Arnold Jones (Providence, Rhode Island), 6—o, 6—3, G—l; Avory (Britain) defeated Frank Goeltz (Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania), 6—2, 6—3, 6 — 2; W. Allison (U.S.) defeated Giles Vegstraten. (New York), 6—4, 7—5, 6—3.
