CINEMAS ON SUNDAY
LOCAL BODY DISCRETION. PROPOSALS IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 23. The text of the Sunday Entertainment Bill was issued to-night. It is supported by the acting-Prime Minister (Mr. Stanley Baldwin) and the ~ At-torney-General, Sir Thomas Imskip. It provides that local authorities shall have power to grant licenses, subject to such conditions as they may think fit.
