TRAGIC SHOOTING MISHAP
DEATH OF YOUNG MAN. BROTHER CARRYING SHOTGUN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) LEVIN, May 24. As a result of a shooting accident yesterday 7 a voung single man, John Buick Murray, aged 21, the younger son of Mrs. Hammond Murray, died in hospital last night. Deceased and a brother were returning home after cutting a track for cattle through the hush to- Lake Papaitonga. The brother was carrying tools and a loaded shotgun, and by some means the gun was discharged, deceased, who was walking in front, receiving the full charge in his back.
