MEET AT NUKUMARU. EiGMOjNT-WANGANUI CLUB. There was a good attendance of hunting enthusiasts from various parts at Saturday’s meet of the EgmontJ Wanganui Hunt Club at Nukumaru, : where they hunted over the property of Mr. E. Parsons. The hunters had ' several good runs and excellent sport was secured, while a large number of spectators also enjoyed the day’s out- • ir *£- . . , 1 At the conclusion of the run the hunt adjourned to the homestead. He asked riders not to press too hard on the hounds, hut when checked to 1 give them a chance to pick up the scent. In response, Mr. Parsons said 1 he was pleased to welcome so many to the hunt and expressed a wish to see more people join as honorary members.
