MAN DEEMED A MENACE
GAOL FOB. FOUR. YEARS. SENTENCE AT NAPIER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association). NAPIER, Feb. 19. Kenneth Impett, convicted for indecent assault on a male, was sentenced by Mr Justice McGregor to four years’ imprisonment. His Honour said he agreed with the police and the probation officer’s reports that the prisoner was a menace in view of his past record and, notwithstanding the jury’s recommendation to mercy, a term of imprisonment was necessary.
