PUKEKOHE RINKS BEATEN. MATCHES AGAINST HAAVERA. The two touring Pukekohe bowling rinks played members of the Hawera Bowling Cl nb yesterday afternoon, losing by an aggregate of 20 points. To-day they will meet Park and Patoa rinks. Results of yesterday’s matches are aw follow, the Visiting rinks being first mentioned: G. D. Laurie. Day, Jameson, C. K. Laurie 18 v. Gibson, Burgess, Corkill, Linkhorn 30. Boyd. Bloxham, AVymer, Blake 20 v. Clarke. Sou ire, Adamson. R, Hicks 28 Totals —Pukekohe 38, Hawera 58. Mr G. A. Burgess, nresident of the Hawera Club, welcomed the visitors and presented Mr C. Iv. Laurie with n badae. Mr Laurie replied on behalf of the Pukekohe players.
