(Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 10. The North Island championship tennis tourney was continued to-day in bright, but breezy, weather. The courts are slow, but are drying fast. Results: Men’s Doubles. Third Round. —Hubble and Turner beat Bartleet and Griffiths, 6 —3, 6—4. Semi-final. —Hubble and Turner beat Wallace and Webster. I —o, o—3, 7—5. Boys’ Singles. Final. —Daws bent Wilson, 6—l, 6—5. Girls’ Singles. Semi-finals. —Miss B. Griffiths beat Miss R. Pepper, 6—3, 6 —5.
