ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Till© annual general meeting of tlie New Zealand Croquet Council will take place this year in Christchurch during the progress of the Dominion tournament. On Thursday, January 22. there will an open meeting of players, when suggestions, etc., will be discussed prior to the official meeting of delegates set down for Friday, 23, when the real business of the coumcli is transacted.
This year’s preliminary meeting will be particularly interesting owing to the visit of a distinguished and popular player, Sir Francis Ooldheister-W emyss, who has been chairman of the English Council during the past season. Sir Francis is to give an address on cioquet to those attending on the 22nd. Sir Francis is accompanied by L-dy Wemvss.
The dates of the annual tournament of the South Taranaki Association l ave been confirmed as February 17 and following day and of the tournament in New Plymouth as February 3.
