PAIRS AT PALMERSTON NORTH. PATEA IN FINAL. (By Telegraph—Special to “Star. ”) PALMERSTON N., Jan. 3. In the pairs bowling tournament, Bourke and Sheahan (Patea) have six wins, and McCormick and Renwick (Hawera) three wins and three losses. The Patea pair is in the final, which will be played this afternoon if the weather holds up.
