COUNTY REDUCES WAGES
ADVICE TO GOVERNMENT. (By TelcgK^m—Pr*ss Association.) PAHIATUA, Dec. 19. The Paliiatiia County Council resolved that all wages and salaries, also councillors’ travelling, expenses, be reduced bv 10 per cent., tine matter to be reviewed in three months. The council also decided to dispense with the services of three employees who have other means of support. A resolution -was 'passed that the time had arrived for the Government to reduce all salaries and wages in all departments; also that the Arbitration ■Court be abolished.
