PLANES IN STORM
ITALY’S ARMADA LEAVES. FOUR. LAND EiN ROUTE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Cop3’rieht.) ROME, Dec. 17. The Italian Air Armada of 12 seaplanes left for Cartagena on the first stage in its trans-Atlantic flight. The squadron encountered a violent storm at the Balearic Isles. Eight have arrived at Cartagena and four are anchored in the Bay of PoJlensa. Pollensa Bay is in Majorca,, largest of the Balearic Islands, which are situattyl in the Mediterranean, 110 miles f’vom Barcelona, the nearest point on the coast, of Spain. It is 250 miles from Majorca to Cartagena.
