HEAVY OVERDRAFT
SOCIETY FACES CRISIS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) SYDNEY, Nov. 28. The directors of the Benevolent Society of New South Wales told the Minister of Health, Mr McGirr, that the society is< facing a serious [financial crisis with an overdraft of nearly £30.dOO, which the bank is demanding shall be reduced. They ask the Government to pay •905, which the society should normally have received last July.
