WHEATGROWERS IN N.S.W
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph
Copyright.} SYDNEY, Nov. 28. Tlio Minister of Agriculture for New South Wales, Mr Dunn, told a deputation of wheatgrowers that there is not. the slightest hope of the Government granting a 4s per bushel guarantee: for the coming season’s crop. He pointed out that far too many farmers were in trouble owing to the high price of wheat land. However, the Government hoped to provide a moratorium for those requiring it. This would regulate interest rates ,and give some relief in the early half of next year. He hoped to have the compulsory pool in operation next year. It was far better to. have one selling agent than 18,000 competing against one another.
