AN ALTERED MOTOR CYCLE
ALLEGATION OF THEFT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 26. In the Magistrate’s Court Clement Robert Lawson, a salesman, was charged with stealing a motor cycle valued at £BO, a post office money box valued at £1 9s and with being in possession of an unregistered rifle. Evidence given for the police alleged that-the accused after stealing the motor cycle had considerably altered it and it cost. £25 or £3O .to put it in order again. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
