DROWNED IN STREAM
BABY GIRL’S DEATH

CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 19. A child' aged three, Erica Ambridge, was found drowned in a stream at the back of her home in Puriri Street, Riccarton. this evening. The child was missed at 5.30 p.m. and after a search was found in the stream. A doctor was called and he tried artificial respiration in vain.
