DARING BURGLARY
HARDW ARE STORE ENTERED. PART OF TAKINGS STOLEN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 27. There was a daring burglary in the heart of the city last night, when the premises of McLean and Archibald, ironmongers, Manners Street, were entered. i > art of the day’s takings left in a drawer was secured through the drawer being forced, but the safe was untouched. What stock, if any, was taken has not been ascertained by the firm. This, the principal says, will be a difficult task.
