CALCUTTA OUTRAGES
BOMBS FREELY USED ATTACKS ON POLICE THIRTEEN ARRESTS MADE. (United Tress Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). DELHI, Aug. 27. Following the attempt to assassinate Sir Charles Tegart, Police Commissionei\ another outrage occurred in Calcutta last night, when a bomb was thrown at the Jorabagan police station in the centre of the city. The bomb, which exploded in the station yard, injuring three persons, including a. beggar woman, is believed to have been hurled from a passing car. Thirteen arrests have been made in Calcutta and two at Lahore in connection with the attempt on Sir Charles Tegart’s life, including Dr Narayan Chandra Roy, a member of the Calcutta corporation. Still another outrage occurred this morning at Calcutta when a bomb was thrown in a .police outpost at Eden Gardens, near Government House. A constable, two coolies and a Government servant were all seriously wounded. The thrower of the bomb disappeared in the gardens.
