ADVANCE IN AMERICA. NEW ZEALANDER IS IMPRESSIONS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 25. Two tilings which chiefly struck Air. Harris, general manager of the Broadcasting Company, in a trip through the United States and* Canada were the enormous advance in broadcasting as a .social* factor in the people’s lives, and the wealth of talent- at the disposal of the big broadcasting company's. People expected everything- from the biggest event to the -smallest to be broadcast. iWhile away Mr. Harris was chiefly concerned with the technical side of broadcasting, -and on this he is making a special report to his company.
