THEFT OF CAULIFLOWERS
FARMER SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 5. John Michael Gearschawski, a farmer, married, was sentenced to three months’ gaol this morning on charge of stealing 24 cauliflowers valued at 17,s from a neighbour’s section. Mr. Leary, S.M., said that it was a •mean theft, and that accused had a past record.
