CONFERENCE RECOMMENDATIONS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) ("Timea” Cables.) LONDON, Sept. 4. At the conference of Empire meteorologists, the agricultural section passed a resolution in favour of developing instruction in meteorology in national as well as in agricultural schools throughout the Empire, and requesting the Ministry of Agriculture to act as a clearing centre to distribute throughout the Empire the results of agricultural and meteorological research obtained from all parts of the world. The conference also recommended that fruit surveys be made throughout the Empire to solve problems connected with the effect of frost on fruit, also its resistance to disease and pests. The next agricultural research, conference will he held in Australia or New Zealand in 1932.
