NEW YORK, At 1.4. 12. \ Arthur .Dekuh, a prominent .\eiv \orK iieavyweiH.it, knocked.'out- George Cook (.Australia) in the eighth round oi a bout at Starlight Park to-night. Dekuh seated 15.9£ and Cook 13.6. In the first round Dekuh’s long reach waa troubling the Australian. The former also gained the second and third rounds-, although Cook fought hard in both. In the fourth Dekuh,, with a twofisted attack, landed repeatedly to the iaoe. In the fifth there were repeated Clinches; then two rights to the face cut Cook’s eye. The Australiian was down on one knee in the sixth, rising with a bleed-1 ing mouth arid nose. The seventh was Cook’s round. The men clinched, in the eighth. Suddenly Cook dropped to the canvas hoiking his .abdomen and claiming a foul. The referee counted him l out. The seconds declared a, foul blow, aloft below the belt. wa« landed in a clinch.
