HEAT BY WIRELESS
FRENCH ENGINEERS DISCUSS PROJECT. STILL IN IiXPER 1 MENTAL STAGE. (United Press Association —Bv Eleom-, Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) LONDON, March 20. The electrical heating of the w hole of Paris by wireless waves from the Eifl'a Tower is a possibility which is engaging the attention of French electrical engineers, according to. the “Daily Matt’s” Paris correspondent-, who says that Jaques Risler has returned from Germany, where he .§aw heating plants operated bv wireless waves.
M. Risier says that though the problem of the wireless heating of houses is sti’l in the experimental stage, its feasibility has been definitely established. The German apparatus consisted of sending and receiving pasts, and the latter, acting ns electrical radiators, are easily installable) j.n 1 ioi user and flats.
He claims that experiments have proved that the system can be extended; to the whole of the city, which can be heated from one central broadcasting station.
