The following golden wedding announcement appears in “The Times” (London): On November 27, 1878, at Tinui, Whareama, Wellington, New Zealand, James Charles Yorke to Katherine Ellen Langdon. Present address: Langton, Dwr-baqli, Pembrokeshire. (Mr. Yorke was a former proprietor of the “Hawera Star” and took a very prominent part in the affairs of this district.)
