NEW GOVERNMENT IN JUGO-

TASK PURELY TEMPORARY

In a statement to foreign Press representaties, the new Prime Minister (Zivkovitch) emphasised that the Government’s task was purely temporary. The Government would begin to -adopt measures- enabling a return to constitutional life the moment the fundamental programme is completed. The Prime Minister denied alleged secret aims, and added that the Government intended to develop the existing friendly relations with' foreign Powers, especially Jugo-Slavia’s neighbours.
The first task was to restore order and discipline in the civil service with a view to unifying the laws and establishing a reign of justice and security, also to set the finances in order.
