Issue Department.—Notes issued, £415,211,000; Government debt, £ll,015,000; other Government securities, £10,177,000; silver coin, £5,241,000; gold coin and bullion, £155,211,000; total, £415,211,000. Banking Department.—Proprietors’ capital, £14,553,000; the rest. £3,396,000; public deposits-. £ll-,143,000; other deposits, £96,212,000; seven day and other bills, £2,000; total, £125,306,000. Government securities, £57,757,000; -other securities, £36,153,000; notes, £31,100,000; coin, £296,000; total. £125,306,000. Proportion of reserve to liabilities, 29.20 per ..cent.; short dated loans, 31 per cent.; three month bills-, 4 7-16 per cent.
