SCHOOLS SECTION. The Eltham Competitions Committee has drafted the undermentioned school schedule for next year’s festival. following the lines adapted in other centres, a number of new and novel classes are included in the programme, which is calculated to maintain the interest previously evinced bj the public in this section. On the advice of teachers and others intimately associated with educational matters, it has been decided to. continue the system of not awarding cash prizes, and, as a set-off to this procedure light refreshments will be provided for children competing and those travelling to Eltham from a distance will ije reimbursed.
