HAWERA LADIES’ CLUB. The Canadian foursome, conducted by the Hawera Ladies’ Golf Club, resulted in a win for Miss R. Pease and Mrs Hawthorne from Miss R. Hawken and Mrs Foyster, after being played off twice. The four-hall best hall bogey competitions was won foy Miss K. Robertson and Miss Rr Hawken, -with a good score of 7 up on bogey. 'The following players have reduced their handicaps this week: Miss H. Burgess 98—18; Miss E. Burgess 94—'10; Mrs Walkley 93—11; Miss D. Hawken 95—12; Mrs Gibson 102—20. Closing day is to-morrow, Friday. A bogey competition will commence at 10 a.m., for both handicap nad non-handi-cap .players, players to choose their own partners. - In the afternoon there will be approaching and putting and driving) competitions for seniors and juniors, and these wll be followed by presentation of trophies ©von during the season.
