OAK UR A TR AG EUY. An inquiry into the death of Edwin Julian, farmer, p Oak lira, whose bod \ J was found on .his farm on Thursday, uas held before the district coroner Mr It. W. Tate, S.M., at New Plymouth on Saturday. As already reported the body was found .under o.iremustunces Wf 1 icli pointed to his having been attacked by a bull while deceased was leading it down to a swamp lor water. Dr. E. A. Walker, who made an examination of the body, said that on the right side lour ribs had been broken, two of thein in two pince.s, *uid the whole area was driven in. There was- severe internal injuries, the shock of which would be sufficient to cause death. The deceased was a feeble man. The liver would probably be ruptured causing internal haemorrhage. The injuries would be’ consistent with his having been attacked by a bull. The coroner found that death was the result of shook from injuries received while leading a hull.— rr Herald.”
