(From Our Own Correspondent.) .PERSONAL. Air. and Airs. J. D. Thomson are at present visiting Auckland, where Air. Thomson will attend the King’s College Old Boys’ Reunion. GIFT AFTERNOON. A very successful gift and social afternoon in aid of the forthcoming bazaar to augment the funds of St. Patrick’s Church was held in St. Patrick’s schoolroom. Airs. J. Boyle organised the function, which was a great success, many useful and valuable gifts-being donated. During tlie afternoon a short musical and elocutionary programme afforded much enjoyment-. A dainty afternoon tea ended the proceedings.
