ANNUAL FAIR

TO-MORROW AT HAWERA

Haweira has 1 built up in a- few yeans, a good reputation as a centre where pedigree pigs of high quality are. offered annually at a fair organised under the aegis.’of-the Pedigree Pig Breeedrs’ Afc* soc-iat on. This, too, is reeflcfted in the excellent entries received at the Bgiiont A. and P. Show, a display which i s . .excelled', in very few of the largest shows of the North Island. The 1928 fair will be hold to-morrow at the Showgrounds, and .its. importance is stressed by the fact that the entries come from the leading breeders not only in Taranaki, but. from Auckland and other parts, and no fewer than ninety pedigrees will be submitted. It is’a grAa.t opportunity for young breeders* or for those who wish to get new strains of high-class Wood stock.

In addition a number of sows, store pige and porkers wall be submitted. The sale" will commence at 12 o’clock, end wil l ' be conducted by Newton King J ltd. , whore offices will be very glad to give all information desired and to supply catalogues on .request.
