CHINA’S REPRESENTATIVE.
LOSS OF OFFICIAL STATUS IN U.S.A. (Australian Press Association —United Service.) Received 11 a.m. to-day. WASHINGTON. June 15. It is authoritatively stated that the Minister for China, Mr .Sae, surrendered the status and privileges of an accredited diplomatic agent when he accepted 1 the appointment by the Nationalist Government a® it® representative in the United States. It is said that thereafter he will have no official standing as far as the United States Government ,is concerned, at least until the United States recognises the Nationalist regime. It is indicated, however, that the State Department moantime will continue to, co-operate with him on a personal basis.
