The results of <the appeal on Anzac Day for help by the sale of poppies, organised bv the members of the \\ omen s National Reserve and other helpers ai ; l over the district, were put .before a meeting of the special committee of the Returned Soldiers’ Association last night at a special meeting, at which Air At. The returns showed that a total isiim of £lsl 15s wsis raised in South Tairanaki, representing sales of 3011 poppies of a: + otal of 3200 issued.
