POULTRY INTERESTS.
SHOW OF YOUNG BIRDS. ENTRIES CLOSE ON SATURDAY. An interesting poultry event lor this district will be the young bird show to be Held on Wednesday next in the Winter Show Buildings. So far entries arc coming in freely and the show promisee vvell. Intending exhibitors are remind ed that ’the date of closing of entries will be Saturday next, April 2S, with the honorary secretary, Air A. Hopkins, and all are urged to send in entries at once and so help the work o. the committee. The importance of a show of young birds can hardly be over estimated and therefore this coming show is certain to be popular. Messrs Don Stewart and J. B. Wilson have consented to act as judges ana they are s 0 well known that their, appointment will be good news to exhibitors. The committee hope to see full benches and large crowds of visitors when the show opens on Wednesday. Meantime it will help them to have ah entries at the very earliest opportunity.
