AUROA.
(From Our Own Correspondent,) The committee of the Auroa Sports Club was very saris Tied with the results of the sports meeting, which exceeded its liveliest anticipations and provided a good sporting day’s outing. One event was not included in the recent report. The two mile cycle race resulted : E. Area 1, L. Gargan 2, Kilpatrick 3. The committee acknowledged a donation of £1- Is from Mr. Kasper, of Manaia. Competitions held during the day resulted as below: Doll (name Rosa), Mrs. J. Symes; bunch of roses, Jean Hooper; sheep guessing, R. Tremain; pig guessing, Sfns. Coleman.
