NOTES ON THE TROTTERS WELLINGTON NEXT SATURDAY
(By " Escapade. " )
The class for high class unhoppled trotting horses has filled exceptionally well at Wellington. Wanganui have received good nominations, also a better class of horse. The meeting will probably be the most successful vet. Handicaps appear next week. Hawera horses are well represented. W. Willetts has Louise Dillon in fine order. Sam Smith has worked wonders with Lena Chimes. Uramie seems rather weary to star* at three meetings. Master Cntc is nice and bright. C. Willett’s has Kulmar in fine condition. lie will surely show true form thi s time. Lady Kevin is working very .poorly. Bright Light looks to be improving. Sister Beatrice is too backward for Wellington. Mokanna is lame but is not being spared. He will be at Wanganui. Bingen Spiers looks well. He is a fine bred horse. Queen Elizabeth has gone off slightly. :She may be ready for Hawera. Hawera nominations are just as expected —wonderful. Stakes make races.
Caretaker Morse, is getting the track in good order.
