ESTATE OF E. C. TAPP

A meeting; of creditors in .the bankrupt estate of Edward Charles Tapp, contractor, of Palmerston North, but formerly of Hawera-, was he'd to-day, there' being present :Messrs Clarke and North (representing the Farmers’ Coop.) and G. Roberts. _ ' Bankrupt sent a telegram intimating his inability to attend the meeting. There was no statement of assets and liabilities, nor personal statement. Mr North stated that bankrupt had failed to comply with the Act in that he had not furnished returns.. “It looks as if he will have to be arrested,” he said. The D 0.A.: I will have to call on him to fulfill his duties, and if he fails to do so them he can be arrested.
