The course was somewhat heavy -after the recent rain. As the Tesult of a Drotest entered by the owner of Waicuflhis after the first racis., the placing of the first and second horses were reversed. Waierdlus, which actually finished second, half a head behind Town Bird, was awarded first place, and Town Bird was placed second. Results- were as follow: — WOODHEY HANDICAP. Of 200 isovs. Six 'furlongs. 2 Waicullus 1 1 Town Bird 2 6 Manly 3 Scratched: Popoff, Bon 1 March. The third horse was two lengths back. Time, 1.15 2-5. KARERE HURDLES. Of 250 isovs. Six furlongs. 9 San. Pedro 1 1 Brigadier Bill 2 5 Ardath. 3 Scratched: Mount Marta. Won by half a length, with one and la half lengths between .second and third. Time, 3min. 15 l-ssec. PRINCE OF WALES HANDICAP. Of 400 so vs. One mile one furlong. 12 Black Mint ]- 4 Civility 1 - 7 Toma 3 Scratched Eden Hall, Siao.si, Beaumont, and Blue Peter. Won by the barest- margin, with two lengths between .second and third. Time, lmm. 55sec. TE MATAI HANDICAP. Of 200 so vs. One mile and a distance. 1 Cohesion 1 11 Koan’au " 3 Capitulation 3 Scratched: Radiate, Paitonu and Bent. Won by a length and a half, with half a length between second and third. Time, lmin. 58sec. SIRES’ PRODUCE STAKES. Of 700 so vs. Seven furlongs. 2 Tli aw 1 1 Gascony .’ 2 2 Damans 3 Also started : 1 Great Charter. Won by la neck, with two lengths between second and third.
