SHIP SEIZED AS RUM-RUNNER. PANAMA’S REQUEST. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 1.30 p.m. to-day. WASHINGTON, April 27. The Panama Government presented a Note to the State Department fo-day asking for the immediate release of the Federal ship which is held a.t San Francisco as a rum-runner, on the ground that the seizure was beyond the jurisdiction of the United States and contrary to the existing treaties. —Sydney Sun Cable.
